Acıbadem International Hospital - Overview
International Hospital, Turkey’s first private hospital in the western sense, introduced its patients to modern healthcare services. The hospital, which began admitting patients in 1989, joined our group’s healthcare chain in 2005. With the renovation efforts beginning in 2006, all clinic areas, doctors’ examination rooms and inpatient floors were rendered more comfortable for patients as well as staff.
Ever since its inauguration, significant investments have been made in International Hospital. Analogous with developments in medicine, private intensive care rooms were adopted for ethical and scientific reasons as well as for ensuring patient’s privacy. In addition, the hospital also includes dialysis units providing care for renal patients; emergency observation beds and post-coronary angiography observation units. Furthermore, advanced imaging is performed with the 1.5 Tesla MR, offering substantial comfort to patients in the diagnosis, staging and treatment of cancer.
