Prof. Dr. Ayşe Adin Selçuk

I graduated from the Department of Medicine Taught in English, the Faculty of Medicine, Hacettepe University in 1996. I received the degree of specialist in medicine in 2000, and held the title of associate professor in 2008. I received the second degree of specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2013. I have spent the first 15 years of my professional career at the Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in the positions of Assistant, Specialist and Associate Professor and, the last 10 years at the Kocaeli Derince Training and Research Hospital, of which I am the founding chief, in the position of Head of ENT Clinic. I received the degree of professor in ENT from the Faculty of Medicine, Bahçeşehir University in 2019 and started to work at Göztepe Medical Park Hospital. I’m continuing to serve my patients at my own clinic and the Turkish Aesthetic Clinic de (TAC) as of 2022. I am currently holding the position of Head of the Department of ENT at the Faculty of Medicine, Bahçeşehir University.

During this period, I’ve attended the Institute of Laryngology & Otology at University College London in 2008 for 6 months, and the Otolaryngology Clinic, at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2013 being an observer in the fields of Rhinology and Head & Neck Cancers, and increasing the level of my experience in diagnosis and treatment of Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea. I’ve obtained the Certificate of Sleep Disorders at Uykuder, and held the position of Member of Executive Board of the Working Group in ENT at Uykuder. I am currently holding the position of Founding Member of the Robotic Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Society; Commission Member for the Qualifying Examination of the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Society, and; Member of the Researcher Supporting and Advisory Group of the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Society.

I am specialized in the field of treatment and surgery of Snoring and Breathing Related Sleep Disorders, surgery of Nose Curvature and Rhinoplasty, surgery of Endoscopic Sinus, Nose Allergy and all other nose diseases. My area of interests also includes Pediatric ENT diseases, Head & Neck Cancers, Ear Diseases, Hearing and Balance Disorders.
