Prof. Dr. Onur Yaman was born in Germany in 1976.

In 1995, he graduated from 60th Year Anatolian High School in Izmir.

In 2001, he graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine. Afterwards, he worked at Muş State Hospital, Rize Training and Research Hospital, Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, Ankara Spine Center and Koç University Hospital respectively.

2018- Currently working as a Brain, Nerve and Spine Surgeon at Memorial Hospitals

As of October 2023, he started to serve as a Brain, Nerve and Spine Surgery Specialist (Consultant Physician) at Turkish Medical Centers.

He is currently the president of the Middle East Spine Society.

Prof. Dr. Onur Yaman has memberships in national and international reputable associations in the field of medicine.

These associations are: Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Neurosurgical Association, Turkish Spine Society, Turkish Neurosurgical Association Peripheral and Nerve Surgery Group, Middle East Spine Society, World Spine Column Society, Eurospine, AO Spine, SRS, Scoliosis Research and Treatment Association.

Prof. Dr. Onur Yaman has won numerous awards in his field throughout his career.
